Twenty years ago, EPSI was born from a vision of an entrepreneurial spirit. This entrepreneurial spirit is a gift that inspires one to become the best they can be; to set an idea in motion and ride it to ultimate success. EPSI is steadfast to that aspiration. Incorporated in 1989 in Washington, D. C., EPSI continues its successful service in the staffing industry and a solid business reputation for building productive partnerships with organizations requiring a diversified contingent workforce. While considered a small business, EPSI’s presence is big enough to handle large projects and small enough to remain flexible and respond quickly to change, which have proven extremely important when responding to the disaster recovery efforts during hurricane Katrina. A culturally-sensitive management approach resulted in customer satisfaction ratings of 92-94%, according to an independent Dun and Bradstreet survey.
Our twentieth anniversary is a sign of the company’s ability to remain flexible and continue satisfying customers. No matter how tough the future, our commitment to providing flexibility, access to talent, and the very best customer service remains resolute.

Today, faced with a tight labor market and a multi-generational workforce, an important step in EPSI’s strategy is to continue to meet the needs of its customers across all levels of the business and to take advantage of the industry expertise of qualified recruiting consultants. 2010 will be a great year to celebrate our twentieth anniversary. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that the employment services industry, which includes temporary help services, will be one of the fastest-growing between now and 2016.
